Blackwater OG- INDICA

Blackwater OG, also known simply as “Blackwater,” is a heavily indica dominant hybrid (90% Indica/10% Sativa) strain created through a cross of the popular Mendocino Purps and San Fernando Valley OG strains. This bud gets its name as an ironic tribute to the infamous Bush-era security firm by the same name. The Blackwater OG high isn’t too memorable or satisfying for experienced users but can be characterized as giddy and euphoric despite its heavy indica nature. The high starts with a slight lift that leaves you hazy and sleepy with a mild full-body buzz. This buzz soon builds into an all-encompassing couch-lock with a heavy feeling and a case of the munchies. These effects paired with its high THC level that typically falls around the 20% mark make Blackwater OG ideal for treating conditions such as depression, chronic stress or anxiety, appetite loss, migraines, and muscle spasms. This bud has leafy and airy spade-shaped dark olive green nugs with large purple leaves, tiny furry orange hairs, and a thick completely frosted coating of tiny sparkling milky white trichomes. The Blackwater OG smell is said to be like musky pine with just a hint of lemon and pungent earth. The taste is very sweet, with touches of grape and lemon and an overarching flavor of pine.
